Call for Donation
At Ursha Help Foundation, we are deeply grateful for the generosity and trust of our donors who help us carry forward our mission to empower underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and skill development initiatives. We take every contribution seriously and ensure that it is utilized with the utmost transparency and accountability.
However, we understand that there may be occasions when a donor may request a refund for a contribution made in error or under special circumstances. To maintain fairness and integrity in all our financial dealings, we have outlined the following Refund Policy.
All donations made to Ursha Help Foundation are treated as voluntary contributions for our charitable programs and community welfare initiatives. Once a donation is received, it is immediately put to work in ongoing or upcoming projects, making it difficult to reverse or refund in most cases. However, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness and donor satisfaction.
A refund may be considered only under genuine circumstances such as:
The donation was made by mistake (e.g., duplicate transaction or incorrect amount).
The donor entered incorrect details leading to an unintended payment.
Technical or processing errors on the website or payment gateway caused an unintended transaction.
Refund requests for any other reasons, such as change of mind or dissatisfaction with how funds are utilized, will not typically be entertained, as all donations are made voluntarily and are immediately allocated to our welfare programs.
If you wish to request a refund, please contact us within 7 working days of the donation date with the following details:
Full name of the donor
Date and amount of donation
Transaction ID or payment receipt number
Reason for refund request
You may send the refund request to info@urshafoundation.org with the subject line “Refund Request – [Your Name/Transaction ID]”.
Once we receive your request, our finance team will review it and respond within 10–15 working days. If approved, the refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the donation. The processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment service provider.
Please note that certain types of donations may not be eligible for a refund, including:
Donations made through third-party fundraising platforms.
Donations made via offline campaigns, events, or CSR partnerships.
Donations already utilized or allocated to a specific cause or project.
We encourage all donors to double-check their details and confirm the purpose and amount before completing the donation transaction.
If a refund is processed, the tax exemption certificate (if already issued) related to that donation will automatically become invalid. Donors are required to return or destroy the issued certificate, as it cannot be used for claiming tax benefits on refunded donations.
Ursha Help Foundation reserves the right to amend or update this Refund Policy at any time to ensure compliance with legal, financial, or operational requirements. Any changes will be reflected on this page with the updated effective date.
